3rd General Assembly
The Ethiopian Editors Association held its 3rd Regular General Assembly on Nehase 7, 2014 (Ethiopian Calendar) at Sapphire Addis Hotel, Addis Ababa, where 2/3 of its members were also present. In the conference, the assembly reviewed and approved the 2014 project and financial performance. The assembly also revised the rules of procedure in a way that is convenient for operation.

Editors Guild of Ethiopia in collaboration with IMS-Fojo and Amen Ethiopia is giving a two-day training for editors and senior reporters at Sapphire Addis Hotel, Addis Ababa. The training themed Analyzing Media Discourse and the Challenges of Reporting Peace Dialogue and Reconciliation. The trainees are drawn from media companies operating in Amhara, Oromia, Somali, Tigray, Harari, A.A, Southern region and D. Dawa.
